The Grand Opening @ CFQ!

Ah this has been a crazy, awesome weekend. I've had an amazing time and am really thankful to all my lovely friends and family that popped down to see what was going on.

Some of the guys doing the art collective Colour Doomed inside painted some amazing art on the outside, as well as Bryce from Peaceful Progress and Spike too. I'm super impressed.

 

We had the lovely ladies from Kitsch n Sync doing inspired walkabout performances. I even had two roller-skating dolls dressed up in my play suit and polka dot dress! There was lots of music and the place was buzzing all day, I can't wait to see how the place pans out as it settles into a routine.

The Hard Slog

All are hard work is paying off and we're nearly there! I think we'll probably be opening on Monday!! I would have liked to have opened over the weekend but what with the second installment of the St Mary's Street stall and then Snapped Up on Sunday at the PrintHaus its a flatout weekend ahead for us :)

Cardiff Fashion Quarter

Ok so I've got some crazy news and a huge jump forward for Nelly's Treasures! I am proud to announce that we'll be setting up shop in the new Cardiff Fashion Quarter on Womanby Street opposite Cardiff Castle! It's been a whirlwind few days but we should be up and rolling next week, ready for you to drop by and take a peek in the flesh!

I'm soo super excited so wanted to share the news and a few pics of how it all looks at the moment! There is going to be such a great atmosphere in there I can't wait, already with people decorating their spaces and setting up the fixtures.

You can kinda see our other wall in the 2nd photo but it's a tad obscured by next door ;)
I've started a bit of painting, the blue is a gorgeous teal, I'm picking out some furniture tomorrow to fill it too!

I know lots of the other stall holders, so it's going to be great fun and they're even putting in a small cafe! I'm looking forward to a good community vibe in there too.

I'm going to have so much to blog about over the next few weeks! Busy Bees here for the foreseeable future :)
